Here’s 3 ways you can fight your Facebook fatigue! Read more below..

If you’ve been on Facebook for more than a few years, there comes a point where you feel overwhelmed with all the status updates, photos, and videos. And chances are, a lot of that content is stuff you could probably do without, but you’re not sure how to unclutter your feed, short of unfriending a bunch of people. While unfriending someone is still an option, there are a few ways to streamline your information intake without the bruised egos that come with ditching online friends.

Remember when you used to boast that you had 3,000 Facebook Friends when you were in school? Well, now school is over and your News Feed is filled with updates and musings from people you have trouble even remembering.

Welcome to the most common type of Facebook fatigue: the too many friends problem. But there’s a relatively easy solution. Since not everyone is comfortable with unfriending, either out of guilt or some other reason, there’s a quieter way to end your Facebook relationship with someone: unfollow them. You’ll stop getting updates in your news feed from them, but you’ll still remain friends.

Your Facebook friends consist of many different types of people, including family, work colleagues, and more. You probably don’t think about this before you post an update, but not all of your Facebook updates are for everyone.

Custom Friends Lists is one of the most underused and undervalued features on Facebook. It lets you choose who sees (or doesn’t) your status updates. Friend lists take only a minute to create but can make your Facebook experience much more enjoyable, because your updates will be targeted at a select group of friends, rather than your entire friend list. Even better, you can also adjust your News Feed so you can only see updates from people on specific lists, so digesting all of their updates just became a lot easier.
